Here's a rare one - this (YEAR) Guild Artist Award series with the single DeArmond neck pickup is a prime example of the craftsmanship and attention to striking aesthetics that defined Guild. This particular model is an excellent example of their archtop electrics and is in wonderful shape for its age - a small crack in the top has been professionally repaired, the neck is straight and true with comfortable low action and plenty of life left on the frets. There is some honest belt-buckle rash from play on the back of the body, pictured, but nothing affecting tone or playability - if anything it adds to the patina and mojo of this exceptional instrument. Will ship freshly set up in the original hardshell case.
